About this theme
The daylight sibling of Ember Desk: unbleached parchment, warm-black ink, oxblood accents. Built for editorial and long-form sites that want print credibility — it reads like a well-made book rather than an app.
Apply it
Paste into update_theme as-is. Light themes don't need color-scheme: dark; the explicit light keeps browser chrome consistent.
Pair with
- Display: Fraunces or Libre Caslon Text
- Body: Source Serif 4 at 17–18px
- Labels: Archivo caps with tracking
Where it works
Essays, magazines, agency case studies, museum/archives. Rules and hairlines carry structure — keep borders visible and shadows off.
Tuning
- Colder document feel: hue 85 → 105, drop secondary entirely.
- Need more sections? Use base-200 panels sparingly; parchment darkens visibly when stacked.
